The purpose of the organization is to assist people who are diagnosed with certain catastrophic illnesses. Many times, because of their inability to speak English, they cannot negotiate the often complex maze of medical providers, nor can they take advantage of the social services that may be available to them. This organization will try to ensure that there patients receive the most appropriate medical care in a timely manner. In addition, in some cases, it is envisioned that some financial assistance and counseling will be offered to the patients, to help alleviate the stress on the families involved.
