Daniel Buck
Daniel Buck is a loving husband and father of two daughters. He was diagnosed with AML–Acute Myeloid Leukemia, this past Monday, April 5. He has already started chemotherapy and is awaiting more test results to determine prognosis, although the team of doctors suspect from initial numbers that he has a subtype with higher risk factors and will require a bone marrow transplant.
Because tissue types are inherited, patients are most likely to match donors of the same ethnic background, which means Don’s match will have to come from another Korean. Of 20 million registered donors in the US, only 0.5% are Korean. Daniel needs your help.
